Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 19, 2026

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited conduct on the Planytera Service. It supplements and is incorporated into the Planytera Terms and Conditions. Planytera ("Planytera," "we," "us," or "our") may enforce this AUP at our sole discretion, including by removing content, suspending features, or terminating accounts.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Users between 16 and the age of majority must have parental or guardian permission.
  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
  • You may not use the Service if you are barred from doing so under applicable law or sanctions regimes.

3. Prohibited Content

You may not upload, generate prompts for, share, or transmit content that:

  • Is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or threatening.
  • Sexually exploits or endangers minors in any way; depicts CSAM; or solicits minors.
  • Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or illegal drug use.
  • Discloses another person's private information without authorization.
  • Contains malware, exploits, or links to harmful resources.
  • Misrepresents your identity or impersonates another person or entity.
  • Is designed to circumvent age, audience, dietary, or safety filters (including the Adults override and Kid-friendly filters) in a manner that endangers minors or others.

4. Prohibited Conduct

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or scraping the Service or its data.
  • Bypassing rate limits, authentication, MFA, captcha, or security controls.
  • Probing or testing the vulnerability of any system without prior written authorization.
  • Using bots, crawlers, or automated tools to access the Service except via documented APIs.
  • Reselling, white-labeling, sublicensing, or commercially redistributing the Service or AI-generated outputs without a written agreement.
  • Using the Service's outputs, prompts, embeddings, or any other data accessed through the Service to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop machine-learning or generative-AI models, datasets, or competing services.
  • Using the Service to generate spam, unsolicited marketing, or bulk messaging.
  • Interfering with another user's use of the Service, including abusing shared trip links or collaborator features.
  • Using location, GPS, or trip data to stalk, surveil, or harm any person.

5. AI and Itinerary Use

Planytera uses AI models to generate itineraries and recommendations. AI outputs are provided "as is" with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any purpose. AI-generated content frequently contains errors, including venues that do not exist ("hallucinations"), permanently closed restaurants, incorrect addresses, outdated or wrong opening hours, inaccurate prices, and mischaracterized accessibility, age, or dietary suitability. You agree:

  • Not to submit prompts intended to produce illegal, harmful, or rights-violating output.
  • Not to use AI output to make medical, legal, financial, insurance, tax, or other safety-critical decisions, including decisions about medications, allergies, evacuation, emergency response, navigation in hazardous environments, or any life-or-death situation. AI output is not professional advice.
  • To independently verify hours, prices, addresses, accessibility, age suitability, and dietary suitability with the venue (and with qualified professionals where applicable) before traveling, transacting, or relying on the information.
  • Not to claim AI-generated outputs as the work of a human professional in a manner that misleads consumers.
  • Not to scrape, export in bulk, resell, or use AI outputs to train any AI/ML model or dataset (see § 4).

6. Location, Maps, and GPS

  • You may enable location features only for accounts and devices you own or are authorized to operate.
  • You must obtain consent from any travel companions before sharing trips that reveal their location or identity.
  • You acknowledge that map and routing data are provided by third parties and may be inaccurate.

7. Sharing, Collaboration, and Business / Agency Workspaces

  • Shared trip links may be accessed by anyone who receives them; treat them as public.
  • Do not include sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, medical conditions, financial details) in shared trips, notes, photos, or post-trip journal entries.
  • Collaborators may have voting or editing rights you grant; you are responsible for managing those permissions.
  • If you operate a Business or Agency workspace, you are responsible for the conduct of invited members, for obtaining any necessary consents from clients or end travelers whose information you enter, and for ensuring your use of the Service complies with applicable consumer-protection and travel-industry regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Post-trip journal entries and generated PDF recaps are personal records; do not publish or distribute them in a way that exposes the personal information of travel companions without their consent.

8. Children's Use

Audience filters such as "Kid-friendly (10 & under)" and "Family (10+)" are planning aids, not certifications. Adults supervising minors are responsible for evaluating any venue, activity, or restaurant. Selecting "Adults" in the Audience category overrides age-based filtering and produces 18+ recommendations; do not enable this override when planning for or with minors.

9. Reporting Abuse

To report a violation of this AUP, including misuse of shared trips, abusive content, or security concerns, contact abuse@planytera.com. We will investigate and respond as appropriate.

10. Enforcement

Violations may result in content removal, feature limitations, account suspension, account termination, refusal of refunds, and referral to law enforcement. We may cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
